Typeform white-label is not the $28 plan

Typeform white-label is not the $28 plan

Removing Typeform branding starts at Plus — about $56/month billed yearly. SurveyMonkey white-label sits near $139/month. Paying teams are already buying this. The page still looks like the tool.

Photo: Unsplash — a desk, a form, a person who has to look professional on someone else's time.

If you sell to other companies, the survey is not "a form." It is the first page they open that claims to represent their work. That is why people pay for white-label. It is also why "Typeform is too expensive" is a bad business to copy in 2026.

What paying customers actually buy

Three layers, three different complaints:

LayerToolsWho paysWhat they yell about
Volume formsTypeform, SurveyMonkey, JotformMarketing / opsResponse caps, branding locked behind a higher SKU, still looks like the vendor
Enterprise researchQualtrics, AlchemerCX / insightsPrice, training, cleaning
Recruit + interviewUserTesting, Respondent, UserInterviews, Maze, DovetailProduct / UXSticker shock, 4–6 tools, empty inboxes so they buy panelists

Only keep rows where money already moved and people still run a workaround.

White-label is a paid pain, not a taste issue

SurveyMonkey. Dropping the footer brand is Premier Annual, about $139/month (or Team Premier, about $92/user/month with a three-seat floor). Lower plans print SurveyMonkey on every survey. People write that they already paid ~$400/year and then another $1,000 for cross-tabs. The software is fine. The packaging is called greedy in public.

Typeform. Branding off starts at Plus. In 2026 the public Plus price is about $56/month billed yearly ($79 month-to-month). Basic is about $28/month with "Powered by Typeform" still on. Help Center copy is explicit: Plus removes Typeform branding and adds a custom subdomain. Full custom domain is Enterprise. Favicon and the typeform.com host do not fully disappear unless you embed the form on a site you own.

A line that keeps showing up in G2 roundups: even with a logo, every form still looks like Typeform.

Workarounds from people who already pay: Typeform for external, Google Forms internally; or a SurveyMonkey Premier upgrade just to kill the logo. That is not "I wish it were prettier." That is a line item.

The gap is not "another pretty form"

Tally is free with unlimited responses. Fillout starts around $15. Those products already took the people who were blocked by Typeform's free-tier 10-response cap. Trustpilot one-stars from that crowd will not convert for you.

What is still unpaid by those cheap tools: a page that does not look like a form vendor, a named URL per person, and a path from a 3-minute answer into an interview. Typeform can be expensive and the respondent still knows they are inside Typeform.

WhereGoing's job is that page: logo, color, title as their company, one link, then send from the dashboard. We do not sell "cheaper Typeform." We sell the part people already pay Zapier and Upwork to fake.

The research stack is still Typeform, Zapier, and Calendly

Frustrated paying customers are not asking for another form editor. They already pay, then assemble Sheets, Zapier, a calendar, and sometimes a $40–200 panel when nobody replies.

Typeform's official answer is still Hidden Fields + Sheets + a mail tool. Paying users keep asking how to skip Mailchimp. Unique URLs are a first-class object, not a formula column.
