How to use WhereGoing
Create a branded survey, one unique link per person, send invites from the dashboard.
1. Sign in and create a survey
Open the dashboard. Describe who you are researching and why (company, job-to-be-done, what you need to learn). You can let the assistant draft questions, then accept or edit them.
A survey has:
- Shared questions (everyone in this research sees the same form)
- Recipients (each person gets their own company name, logo, color, title, invite copy)
2. Brand each recipient
For every person:
- Company or person name
- Email (used to send the invite)
- Logo URL and accent color so the public page looks like theirs
- Invite text
Save. Each recipient then has a public URL like /s/{slug}/{recipientId}.
3. Send the invite
On the Recipients tab you can send one person or all at once.
- Envelope — send to that person
- Send all — everyone with an email who has not already been sent this version
- Copy link / copy — if you prefer your own inbox
Already-sent invites cannot be resent unless you change the copy, questions, or branding and save.
4. Watch replies, then invite interviews
When someone finishes, you can get a notification to your inbox. Open Responses, read the 3-minute answers, and only calendar the people worth an hour.
The public page can still collect the respondent's email for your follow-up. We do not send them a confirmation campaign.
Limits worth knowing
- One survey, many recipients — questions stay shared
- At most 200 recipients per survey
- At most 20 questions
- Keep the form short. Industry completion drops hard after six questions; this product is built for 10–30 named people, not 1,000 marketing leads
